We HAD to write a post about our Kozé launch party because it was, indeed, pretty crazy. Evolution team members had to turn into temporary events organisers, and the agency was a mess for a while – but it was totally worth it!
First, Sara and Melissa had to embark on a long expedition in Port-Louis to buy all sorts of things, from 5 kilos of Moolkoos to raw prawn crackers. The team then spent the afternoon of the launch at the Hennessy Park Hotel, which kindly hosted our party. What we remember most is “industrially” cleaning huge glass jars in Backstage’s kitchen and panicking about the bloody gobo. Anyway, the party was a huge success – not only because the cocktails were delightful (thanks Bar Blade Specialists!), but most importantly because the crowd was so mixed and funky. This is the Mauritius that we like most: a rastaman having a drink with a bank manager, a 86-year-old Séga star drinking champagne, and of course our friends from the Chinese Embassy.
Thank you everyone who could make it!
Ps: To the people who thought the candles were lollypops, and subsequently tasted them: thank you. You made our night.
Have a look to our Facebook album of the party !
EVO PEOPLE AT ÎLE DES DEUX COCOS
Finding a playlist for the trip was not an easy task. Luckily, Vincent picked up the struggle and played a few sega songs. With Claire, Akshay and Dorinne joining in the fun with their amazing dance steps, we knew the party had begun!
